Lumarca is a truly volumetric display which allows viewers to see three dimensional images and motion. The system requires only a computer, a projector, and common materials found at most hardware stores. This provides an affordable platform for artists to design compelling content that conveys information, narrative, and aesthetic information in a new way. Lumarca is a collaboration between Albert Hwang and Matt Parker.

Speakers for the home theater can get frighteningly expensive. The first time I saw speakers that sold for tens of thousands of dollars I figured there couldn’t be that much work put into the things. One of those crazy expensive sets of speakers was the Bowers & Wilkins Nautilus, which served as the inspiration for Alfonso de Rojas to build his own a few years back.

Introducing the new version of the Bright Bike DIY Kit. To BUY a DIY Kit right now, go to

After a year of testing, we are releasing DIY Kits for an updated version of the Bright Bike. The kits come in two types: Caterpillar and Pinstripes.

The Caterpillar has 1 inch bands that wrap around the main tubes, and in inch dashed lines along the fork and seat stays.

The Pinstripe has 1/4 inch strips that run along the outside faces of all tubes.

Each kit is sized to be large enough for a 61cm frame with extra wide tubing, so in nearly every case, you will have extra materials that will give you room to play and experiment.

Interactive Digital Cinema Project

Immersive Interactive Multisensory Cinema Capture and Playback system studies novel aesthetic, expressive and narrative possibilities enabled by creative misuses of hardware and software technologies and computer vision methods. The project utilizes appropriated, hacked and modified hardware, microcontrollers, multiple 3d and video softwares using a custom workflow, and a minimalist viewing furniture based on a customized version of finnish industrial designer Esa Vesmanen's lounger design.
