ABOUT THE MASTERCLASSES
Artists, musicians, engineers, game designers, hackers, and people who like to make cool new things using the latest tools in art, media, and technology are invited to join us at Eyebeam this July for three studio-based creative intensives in the areas of visual music, extreme video remix techniques, and the wide world of alternative/hacked game controllers. A maximum of 14 participants per class will work alongside our Fellows and collaborators, for a deep immersion period in Eyebeam's energetic studio/work-space environment. Everyone will walk away with working prototypes, new skills, and inspiration for projects not previously even imagined.

This special opportunity offers a taste of life as a resident at Eyebeam. Over the course of the week, you will spend time working and hanging out with the artists, designers, academics, and technologists from around the world that make up the Eyebeam community, all with access to relevant workspace tools and equipment. Located in the heart of NYC's Chelsea Arts District, Eyebeam's shared workspace is geared to foster and facilitate relationships whereby creative people can come together and create new works in a social and formal context which is rich in technology, expertise, and creative thought: Think, Make, and Share.
