Cynthia McVay

Strategy consultant, artist, screenwriter

Cynthia McVay has been a strategy and management consultant for twenty years, with McKinsey & Co. (1988-1995) in their Consumer Goods, Retail and Media practices, and independently (1998-today).  In between, Cynthia was VP of Strategic Planning for an $8 billion retailer, Venator Group.  She also served as  Senior Program Officer, for Latin America, for the World Wildlife Fund-U.S. (1983-1985).

Cynthia is an artist and writer, currently producing her third script. With a passion for the natural world and concern over sustainability, Cynthia continues to pursue “green” issues in her own life and professionally.

Cynthia graduated from Harvard University, Magna Cum Laude, with a BA in Biology and Visual Arts.  As a Fellow at the Lauder Institute, she earned an MBA at the Wharton School, and a MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.  Cynthia speaks Spanish and Portuguese, and some German.
