Andrew Gryf Paterson is a Scottish artist-organiser, cultural producer and researcher based in Helsinki, Finland. His work involves variable roles of initiator, participant, author and curator, according to different collaborative and cross-disciplinary processes. Andrew works across the fields of media/ network/ environmental activism, and pursues a participatory arts practice through workshops, performative events, and storytelling. He is currently a doctoral candidate as Media Lab, University of Art and Design Helsinki.
At Eyebeam Andrew will work with teenagers in the Education Lab on a project called Seeders ‘N’ Leechers ‘R’ Us, which will involve organizing a “clip kino” or micro-cinema in physical space, using content gathered from popular and marginal p2p online platforms.
