Eyebeam is looking for an unpaid program intern to work with us during the Spring 2010 semester. The position is available for immediate start.

Get involved in curatorial and research assistance for Eyebeam's new research group on "design for social change" as well as our spring exhibition on crowdsourcing.

Eyebeam is seeking experienced interns to work with us during the coming semester. We offer opportunities for real, hands-on engagement with the administrative side of running our organization in exchange for progressive ideas, go-getter attitude, and easy-going demeanors. This is a self-starter environment where your leadership and passion will be welcome. The ideal candidate has on the ground experience - via established settings or the home-grown kind - in event production, working with artists, marketing and outreach, and / or public programs and education.

Tasks include:
*Researching artists and projects relevant to the topics
*Collecting and editing research group meeting notes posted on a blog
*Assisting in production logisitics for public programs

Interest and/or knowledge of:
*Open source practices
*Creative activism, interventionist art, tactical media art, and/or net art
*Social media platforms
*Public service architecture, community design/build, and/or design activism

Skills:
*Typing, writing, and editing online content
*Researching and archiving experience
*Audio and/or video editing experience preferred
