Windowfarm How-To Workshop Sun Aug 16 3 pm in Brooklyn
Britta Riley will be leading a workshop on the Waterpod' Brooklyn Bridge Park pier for anyone who wants to learn how to build a windowfarm.
Windowfarms let you grow your own food in your apartment window year-round by means of hydroponics.
Bring your window dimensions (height, width, sill depth) and you will walk away with a customized design just for your apartment window.

We will be open to the public Friday 3 - 7 PM, Saturday - Sunday 11 AM - 7 PM, plus additional hours for special events and booked school tours. Hours may be subject to change due to environmental conditions. Subway directions: Take 4/5 to Borough Hall Station. Head west on Joralemon Street toward Clinton Street to Furman Street. Take M/R to Court Street, 2/3 to Borough Hall Sation Head west on Montague Street toward Cadman Plaza West. Turn left at Henry Street Turn right at Joralemon Street towards the river.
